Why use Skinometer
- When the water content of your skin drops it is important to moisturise the skin immediately to seal the barrier and lessen the water loss.
- By the time we realise our skin is dry, it may be too late and our skin barrier may have been compromised and broken.
- Skinometer let you know the changes in your skin throughout the day.
How it works
- Skinometer measures the conductance of electricity current between the two pins of the sensor.
- Electric current conductivity increases when skin moisture content is high.
How to use
- Measure by touching the surface of the skin lightly.
- Do not press your skin with the Skinometer. Pressing down on the skin changes the skin topography and will affect the reading of the skin water and oil content.
- Allow fluctuation around 5% even when doing continuous measurement reading.
Interpretation of Readings
- GREEN Light: Ideal balance for our skin
water content > 50%, oil content < 30%, elasticity > 60%; this will give an excellent skin age <25. - RED Light: Warning! Extra care for your skin is needed: water content < 35%, or oil > 35% or elasticity < 50%
- Skin Age is a calculated parameter based on the skin water and oil content and elasticity measured. The number for skin age is only for reference use, the lower the better. The skin age calculation is using the measured values of the skin water & oil content and elasticity based on data from 18 years old to 38 years old.

What certifications does your product have?

Can I use the product in combination with Retinol, Peptide, Tretinoin, or other actives?
Yes you can use them together. Proxylane works on different targets and has separate mechanism of action to increase the glycosaminoglycans in the skin for anti aging effect, not the same as neither retinol, peptide, tretinoin nor other actives. It is recommended to use our product as the base first.
What is the color of the product?
The product is white in color. We do not add any color additives.
What is the texture of the product?
Our face cream is lightweight in texture, watery and non greasy yet highly moisturizing, rich yet smooth to spread with ease.
Is the product safe for sensitive skin and/or medical skin conditions?
Although our product is compatible to use for all skin types, it is advisable to do a patch test to check for your skin reaction initially for new users with sensitive skin. Medical skin conditions like atopic dermatitis are not advisable to use this product when the skin is flared up or broken.
Can the product cause breakouts?
We have two cases of breakouts when our product was used in the early twenty years old young ladies although we cannot be sure whether it was due to pms or the product. However as always, do a patch test first to check your skin reaction if you are unsure.
How should I include the product in my skincare routine?
Firstly wash your face with your usual cleanser. If you use facial toner or serum to prep your skin, apply this product after your facial toner or serum. Pat this product in and continue with your makeup and sunscreen on top of this product.
How long should I use the product to see results?
The moisturizing effect of the product can plump up fine lines in a few days. You should continuously use this product for at least 3 to 4 weeks, which is the regular skin turnover duration, to see best anti aging results. As with most skincare products, it can also take up to three months. Be patient and give the product time to work.
